Sophie Brayne works on client consulting projects with a focus on human health technologies and their market application. She has a particular interest in the evolving landscape of advanced cell therapy, as well as biologics, diagnostics, medical devices and vaccines. Sophie joined IP Pragmatics in 2011, prior to this she completed placements at Bird & Bird LLP in the Intellectual Property practice and in the Strategic Initiatives Marketing division of Pfizer Animal Health in New York. Her role involves market and IP assessment, commercial positioning and business development for client projects as well as industry-academic alliance management. These may be for biotech companies, universities or research institutes. Sophie completed her degree with first class honours in Biological Sciences with Pharmacology from the University of Edinburgh and is currently taking an Executive MBA at Imperial College London.
